AB-EZE has both a door anchor and carabiner. You can attach the door anchor to a suitable door, the carabiner to a fixed anchor point, or use the strap wrap method to attached to a fixed anchor.
Select a sturdy door that opens away from user. Push open the door and lay the anchor pillow over the top of the door so that it is on the opposite side of the door from AB-EZE. Close and lock the door. Be sure AB-EZE is hanging on the “outer” side of the door so that it pulls the door closed while in use. Place door hanger on opposite side door knob to alert others not to open the door.

When AB-EZE support pad is positioned at the hip level, it is recommended that you keep your feet on the floor. Wear rubber soled shoes to avoid slipping. Do not press your feet against the door or wall. If you want to press your feet against a vertical surface, such as a wall or door, where it meets the floor, place a 2”x4” piece of lumber along floor to place feet against. If using door anchor, length of lumber should be minimally 8” wider than the door opening. User is to place feet on board rather than against the door or wall. Socks or other covering can be used to cover board ends to lessen the likelihood of damage to door frame, moulding, or wall. Board is not included.
Yes. AB-EZE also has a carabiner that can be attached to a fixed anchor point strong enough to hold user’s weight such as a heavy duty anchor, X mount, eye bolt, or U ring. Clip carabiner to fixed anchor point and be sure it is in closed position. Any hardware should be selected and installed by a licensed contractor to ensure proper installation as well as appropriate weight capacity and safe working load limit. User is responsible to check whether chosen hardware and/or anchor point were properly installed, secured, and can hold user weight. Wrap the AB-EZE strap around a horizontal bar and a latch the carabiner onto the strap. Be sure carabiner is in closed position. To adjust the length of the exercise strap, press the tab on the cam buckle. Once cam buckle is depressed, either pull down on buckle to lengthen the strap or pull up on the end of the strap to shorten. Do not hold or press cam buckle with any weight on support pad.
